Fire Course
Designed by Greg Norman to blend seamlessly with the natural desert landscape, Fire offers a formidable and, as its name suggests, a fiery challenge for golfers of all skill levels. While the Earth course uses bold colours to create its contrasts, Fire’s are more refined. The native grasses glisten with a golden hue in the sunlight, and beyond the immaculate playing surfaces, large terracotta bunkers punctuate the rolling terrain. Surrounded by a diverse array of captivating flora, carefully selected to reflect the overall theme and enhance its natural setting, Fire is in complete harmony with its surroundings.
Thanks to the undulating topography and stunning natural features, each tee provides a unique perspective, heightening both interest and challenge. Tee placements vary, with length, direction, and elevation constantly changing throughout the course. Strategically placed bunkers are positioned to catch errant strokes, requiring players to carefully consider tee shot placement.
Regarding your approach, the greens emphasise the importance of positioning, so aiming directly at the flag may not always be the best strategy - a wayward shot could incur a significant penalty. The Fire course is a challenge you’ll relish and an experience you’ll want to repeat.
