From the Home of Golf, Louis Gaughan continues the proud Scottish tradition at Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club.
Louis grew up at Bathgate Golf Club, a course that has produced two Ryder Cup Captains and three Ryder Cup players, where he was immersed in a culture of elite performance from the very start. Picking up a club at age seven, he quickly fell in love with the game, and by 13 had qualified for the Faldo Series World Final in Brazil.
Determined to pursue professional golf, Louis began his PGA qualification at 18 while playing a key role in developing one of Scotland’s leading junior programs. Under his guidance, the program produced multiple Scottish internationals and future PGA professionals.
Since moving to Dubai in 2018, Louis has built a reputation as a dedicated coach who helps golfers of all levels unlock their potential. His philosophy is individually tailored, blending sound fundamentals with his own playing experience to improve both swing technique and on-course performance — building skill, strategy, and confidence.
