Louis Gaughan is a highly experienced Senior PGA Professional specialising in golf coaching, player development and on-course performance improvement at Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club. Originally from Scotland, the “Home of Golf”, Louis developed his game at the renowned Bathgate Golf Club, a venue known for producing Ryder Cup captains and players.
With a strong background in both competitive golf and junior player development, Louis began his PGA qualification at 18 while helping lead one of Scotland’s most successful junior golf programmes, producing multiple Scottish internationals and future PGA Professionals.
Since relocating to Dubai in 2018, Louis has built a reputation for delivering personalised golf coaching in Dubai for players of all abilities, from beginners and juniors to experienced golfers looking to improve consistency and lower scores. His coaching philosophy combines solid golf swing fundamentals, course management and performance-based coaching, helping players develop confidence, technique and a better understanding of the game.
Through a tailored and structured approach, Louis focuses on improving swing efficiency, ball striking, short game performance and on-course strategy, enabling golfers to unlock their full potential and enjoy long-term improvement.
