Jake Twineham

Jake was born in Harrogate, North Yorkshire and from a young age played both Football and Tennis to a high standard before taking up golf at the age of fourteen. Four years later at the age of eighteen, Jake turned professional and started to play in regional PGA events before branching out and playing Pro-Am Events around the world including Portugal, the United States and the United Arab Emirates. As Jake entered the first year of his PGA Degree, he realised his passion for Coaching and seeing the progression to achieving goals.
A PGA Professional boasting a strong work ethic and a passion for Golf tuition, with a focus on achieving the best for all his Clients. Jakes friendly and passionate approach along with his skills and knowledge on technology such as Trackman and SAM PuttLab, allow him to assist all level of golfers in progressing their game. Jake has maintained great relationships with his clients and he feels it is a key ingredient to consistent progression.
Jake has received lessons from many top Coaches around the world, which has increased his knowledge of the golf swing and he has used this to develop his own philosophy. Jake’s coaching philosophy is based upon a holistic approach as he believes the Golf Swing can be adapted to fit everyone’s needs. Having coached players of all golfing abilities from county players to complete beginners; he thinks all players learn and move differently so it’s vital as a Coach to be adaptable. He believes a good set up combined with keeping the movement nice and simple is the key to success.
