Dedicated two-storey venue set to be unveiled for Holy Month
Prepare for a Ramadan with a difference, as Emirates Golf Club unleashes a tent-tastic location in the heart of Dubai’s beautiful lush green golf courses. The ‘Dallah Lounge’ is specially designed for guests to enjoy the sacred season, with extensive daily Iftar and Suhoor.
‘Dallah’, which is an Arabian coffee pot, symbolises the region’s rich cultural heritage and majestic hospitality. It is also the inspiration behind the design of the Omega Dubai Desert Classic trophy, the Middle East’s number one annual golf tournament.
Nestled within the pristine greens of the golf club, the fully air-conditioned, two-storey Dallah Lounge, provided by Wicked is the perfect dining destination this Ramadan. Guests can choose from a range of seating options that are ideal for both formal and casual Suhoor and Iftar.
With a modern and contemporary feel to the design, the large dining area inside the lounge lends to expansive tables for decadent gatherings, cosy sofas for a more relaxed get together, and high tables for a communal dining experience. As the evening progresses, retire to the Mezzanine level for post-Iftar drinks and shisha to socialise with friends and family.
Savour a selection of dates, figs, apricots, nuts, olives and freshly baked Arabic bread, complimented by local beverages such as Jallab, Tamarhindi, and Karkadeh to break the fast. Rich soups, served piping hot from the tureen, will pave the way for mains such as the Sweet and Sour Hammour and Penne Neapolitan, with signature Lamb Oozi and Roast Beef Carvery found at the live cooking station.
Grill enthusiasts will not be left disappointed, as a grill station whips up crowd favourites such as Shish Taouk, Lamb Kofta, Lamb Chops and an array of succulent Kebabs. Wrapping up the meal will be a selection of Arabic desserts from across the region, such as Kunafa, Shouaybiat Cream and Killaj, bringing a sweet sense of nostalgia.
