QD’s is all set to keep the party going this winter with a multitude of exciting festive offers, leading up to a spectacular New Year’s Eve extravaganza. The beautiful al fresco-dining venue has breath-taking views of the Creek, with the stunning skyline providing the ideal backdrop for some seasonal fun.
Festive Menu
The on-going festive menu is available until the 30th of December, offering a host of seasonal favourites such as hearty roast pumpkin soup served along with a side of classic roasted chestnuts. Festive foodies can get their fill of turkey with a twist, in a delightfully delicious turkey burger seasoned with a special blend of spices, complemented by traditional cranberry jelly that is guaranteed to please palates. With the decadent Yule Log cake providing the perfect sweet finish to what is sure to be a memorable meal, the festive menu at QD’s is one not to be missed.
Mardi Gras New Year’s Eve
On the 31st of December, the warm comforting scents of the seasonal menu will be traded for the sights and sounds of an exuberantMardi Gras Festival. From 8pm onwards, guests will be transported to the wild streets of New Orleans as they enjoy the vibrant décor and ambience of a carnival evening. Given the high energy levels required for the electric event, guests will have unlimited access to a delicious international buffet all night, priced atAED 850 with select beverages and priority Creek-side seating, andAED 650 with house beverages.
Starting the meal will be an array of piquant salads, artisanal cheeseboards and a vast sushi selection. For those who pride themselves on their refined tastes, a raw bar serving blue crab, lobster and Avruga caviar will be available through the night. Live cooking and carving stations will keep things exciting for diners, as they watch their delicious dishes being prepared in front of their very eyes, adding even more flair to an already exciting event. Those with a sweet tooth will can choose from a selection of delectable desserts and a candy station.
DJ Tikki who set the tone for the animated New Year’s Eve event at QD’s last year, and DJ Rohann will be on the decks all night. Their choice of tunes for the night will combine the most popular tracks of the year with upbeat Mardi Gras Music, keeping guests on their toes as they count down to New Year.
Further adding to the dynamic feel of the evening, will be a group ofprofessional carnival dancers, donning the famous colourful costumes embellished with bright glitter, feathers and beads, whose vivacious moves will keep the ‘krewe’ going until the early hours of the New Year.
The ideally located venue also leaves guests with unmatched vistas of the world-renowned celebrations at the Burj Khalifa. This year, guests are in for an all-new experience, with a different concept being introduced to Downtown. A view of an innovative world-class light show is on the agenda as the clock strikes midnight, which can be fully appreciated from the terrace of QD’s, away from the crowded throngs of Downtown Dubai.
