Volunteering for the Omega Dubai Desert Classic is such a rewarding experience for many reasons. There are various roles available for volunteers of all experience levels for the tournament.
Examples of the roles can be the following:
* Assisting with the TV crew in various situations including the following; driving the TV camera crew to different spots ready for them to film the action.
* Walking Marshals who will walk alongside the players and be responsible for the crowd control during play and ensuring the players have the required silence and minimum disturbance from the crowds
* Static marshals who will look after set locations on the course and be responsible for the clear path for players to get from greens to tees and also other areas that need rope removal.
Each role has its own responsibilities and requirements. Good fun is had by all in the process of ensuring the event runs smoothly.
