Le Classique gets a Modern Makeover with new Menu and Terrace

Award winning venue to launch seasonal flavours and an updated look

Award winning fine dining French restaurant Le Classique is getting a modern makeover with changes to its menu and outdoor terrace overlooking the lush greenery of the Emirates Golf Club.

With its 20 year history the venue has become a favourite among the foodie crowd in Dubai thanks to its commitment to serving up a selection of exceptional dishes. Signature 'Classiques' will remain on the new menu with Executive Sous Chef Benoit Cart developing new creations that will follow the availability of a variety of seasonal produce.

Speaking about the new menu Chef Benoit said; "We have been working very hard on introducing more than 20 brand new dishes that will reflect the classic nature of fine French cuisine, but cooked in a more contemporary way. The ingredients will reflect what is seasonably available in Europe so that we can offer guests an exciting new dining experience with a selection of special dishes that will change throughout the year."

                    Foie Gras de Canard en Terrine

The new look outdoor terrace will seat 90 guests and is perfect for outdoor dining during the cooler winter months. Overlooking the magnificent golf course diners will be able to enjoy the new menu that will include a host of new dining options including the highly prized Bresse Chicken from France, which is rated by Michelin star chef Heston Blumenthal as one of the best tasting chickens available. It will be served two ways with a morel sauce and wild garlic and carved at the table.

                                   Seared Medallion of Tuna

Other new signature dishes on the menu are; seared medallion of tuna marinated with anchoiade, foiegras terrine with date mousse, the venues own twist on traditionalbouillabaisse, baked John Dory with truffle caviar, handmade king crab ravioli, seared scallops with a nut crustandlobster with Morel and white truffle. Desserts range from the traditional crepe suzette and soufflé to pain perdu and pink almond tart.

A variety of dining packages are on offer including four course tasting menus, as well as theseven course Degustation Menu, which has been designed to tempt the taste buds with a range of dishes which are tailor made by Chef Benoit according to what is in season.

The new a la carte dinner menu is available from Tuesday to Sunday from 7pm - 12am (last order 10:30pm). Le Classique is open for lunch from 12 noon to 3pm Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and the Gourmet Brunch is available on Fridays and Saturdays from 12pm - 3:30pm.
