Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club has today announced the launch of its refurbished Golf Academy, which includes a delicious new Academy Café menu, as well as a state-of-the-art golfing simulator and a new putting course.

Golf Academy Café Menu
The highlight of the menu is the selection of 30 homemade cookies which include some special savoury versions, a culinary creation new to Dubai and the brainchild of Max Grenard, Culinary Director at Dubai Golf. Examples of these include the "Japanese", a roasted seaweed cookie topped with mixed fish tartare, sesame seeds, sesame oil and seaweed; and the "Indian", an Indian Spiced cookie topped with paneer tikka, red onion, fresh coriander, mango chutney and tomato.  The cookies also come in sweet versions including ginger, pineapple, Mars, liquorice, jam and meringue.

The new menu at the Academy Café also includes a selection of signature burgers with ingredients influenced by global cuisine, such as "The Aussie": beef burger, fried egg, pickled beetroot, Boston lettuce and spicy mayo; "The Turkish": lamb patty, spices, date chutney, mint leaves, fresh coriander and pickled vegetables; and "The Brit": battered fried fish, tartar sauce, mushy peas and lemon wedges.

Commenting on the menu, Max Grenard said; "The cookies are all made fresh in house. We like to raise the bar and excite our guests when it comes to coming up with new flavours and recipes and this is evident with the cookies, as well as our range of internationally inspired burgers."

Golf Simulator and Putting Green
Launching on 1 November, the golf simulator features high speed camera technology to capture swing path, impact and ball flight, delivering an incredibly realistic indoor golf experience for both practice and play.
