Boardwalk Serves up Free Fish & Chips for 2012 to Guest Ordering Lucky Number

More than 200,000 portions of famous dish sold since opening

Since opening in 1993, Boardwalk at the Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club has served over 200,000 plates of its famous Fish & Chips. Starting this month the restaurant is giving one guest the chance to win fish and chips at Boardwalk until the end of 2012, which will be awarded to lucky diner number 211,000.

Additionally, a second guest will also receive unlimited Fish & Chips during 2012 if they are the winner of a competition being run on the Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club facebook page.

Over the years the Fish & Chips dishes at the venue have not only grown in popularity, but Boardwalk has also increased the options available for discerning diners. A selection of different fish, batter and a range of accompaniments are on offer.

"Fish & Chips is a global favourite and one of our most popular dishes, which we have been improving upon for nearly 20 years to give people even more choice and an even better dining experience. The dish is served with a card that highlights what number has just been served and those lucky enough to order the winning portion will receive a card with their picture, allowing them to order Fish & Chips at Boardwalk for the rest of the year for free," said Chef Max, Culinary Director for Dubai Golf.

Boardwalk's tiered terrace overlooks the famous Dubai Creek and its inclusive and inviting atmosphere makes it a perfect destination for lunch or dinner with friends and family.

The restaurant is open seven days a week from 12pm - 12am from Sunday to Thursday and from 8am - 12am on Friday and Saturday. For reservations call +971 (0)4 295 6000 or email
