Welcome to the Dubai Golf website!
With the addition of Jumeirah Golf Estates to the Dubai Golf Family late last year, we saw the coveted DP World Tour Championship take place on the Earth Course for the 10th Consecutive Year. Two previous Masters Champions, Patrick Reed and Danny Willet, battled it out on the Greg Norman Designed Course, with Willet eventually taking the title alongside the 2019 Race to Dubai Champion Francesco Molinari.
In early 2019, we welcomed the 30th Anniversary of the Omega Dubai Desert Classic back to the famous Majlis course at Emirates Golf Club. After a very exciting four days of play from a world class field, it was fantastic to see Bryson DeChambeau being presented with the famous trophy.
We are thrilled to see the success of and receive such great feedback from our new restaurants at Emirates Golf Club. Our French Mediterranean restaurant, carine, in conjunction with the popular Chef Izu has received widespread praise, including picking up the Best European Restaurant Award at this year’s Time Out Dubai Awards. Spike Bar continues to be the main hub for all sports lovers and its international menu has something for everyone. The Australian food emporium, Jones the Grocer, is a popular meet-up spot for families and friends for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Dubai Golf have celebrated further success recently. The Majlis course at Emirates Golf Club has been awarded Best Course in the Middle East from Golf Digest Magazine, along with first place in the Reader’s Choice awards. At the 2019 59Club Awards, regarded by many as the 'Oscars' of the golf service industry, Dubai Golf picked up the much coveted title 'Golf Group of the Year' for a fifth consecutive year, while both Emirates Golf Club and Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club both received a Gold Flag award. Emirates Golf Club also took the award for the 'Ultimate Members Club', an honour given to the venue which leads the average scores of all those receiving a Gold Flag. Dubai Creek's highly respected Director of Golf, Stephen Hubner, left with the award for 'Golf Manager of the Year', while Emirates Golf Club’s Rhys James picked up the award for ‘Overseas Leading Individual Membership Sales Performance’ and Andy Meech winning the ‘Leading Individual Leisure Membership Sales Performance’.
We have expanded the Peter Cowen Academy Dubai to Jumeirah Golf Estates, our third location alongside Dubai Creek and Emirates Golf Club. Peter Cowen is recognised as one of the world’s elite teaching professionals who has achieved over 200 main PGA Tour victories and three major championships as a coach. We are delighted to have partnered with Peter once again to bring his unique coaching philosophy and knowledge to Jumeirah Golf Estates. At Dubai Golf we are now teaching over 600 juniors every week and the popularity of the sport is continuing to grow with increasing numbers of new golfers taking lessons. The quality of golf facilities available within the United Arab Emirates now rival the world's top golfing destinations and there really is no better place to take up the game of golf.
Whether you come and dine with us, are a valued member or you visit the clubs during special events, we look forward to welcoming you to our Clubs again soon.
