6th Dubai Golf Par 3 Junior Series Results at Emirates Golf Club

Dubai Golf hosted the 6thevent of this seasons Dubai Golf Par 3 Series on Thursday 3rd April. The event was played over The Emirates 9 hole Academy Course and was made up of a strong field of 45 budding future stars.

The event was the sixth of an eight tournament series and is part of an initiative by the Dubai Golf Academy Professionals to encourage junior golfers to move from the driving range to the golf course. Between the two Dubai Golf Academies at Emirates Golf Club and Dubai Creek and Yacht Club, over 500 juniors participate in regular weekly lessons as part of the Dubai Golf Junior Development Programme sponsored by Jumeirah and Wild Wadi Waterpark.

Juniors from four levels of the Dubai Golf Junior programme ( Black, Purple, Blue, Yellow) competed against one another and each level was highly contested. Winners received vouchers for Wild Wadi Waterpark, trophies and other prizes. Each score was awarded with some valuable order of merit points which will be added together for all the events throughout the year.

The weather and course conditions were perfect as, a beautiful setting as the sun set over the Emirates par 3 golf course, parents and competitors were witness to some fine golf. With a tremendous 29 Tanishq Lalvani took the top spot picking up the black level win and adding a 100 points to his order of merit account.
