Dubai Golf and Park Hyatt Dubai Clean Up the Creek!

Over 130 colleagues from Dubai Golf and Park Hyatt Dubai recently joined together on a joint initiative to clean up the Creek as part of the Clean Up the World initiative.

The team managed to fill over 122 bags and three trucks full of rubbish, collected from the banks of the historic Dubai Creek.  Members of the team who gave up their time to clean up the area included staff from Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club, Emirates Golf Club and Park Hyatt who were joined by Christopher May, Chief Executive Officer - Dubai Golf, Mustafa Al Hashimi, General Manager - Dubai Golf and Adrian Slater, General Manager - Park Hyatt Dubai .

Mustafa Al Hashimi, General Manager of Dubai Golf commented, "As part of the 20th anniversary celebrations taking place at Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club, we are focused on improving the environment and giving something back to Dubai in 2013.  The Dubai Creek is of huge historical significance to the region and we hope that this initiative plays a part in maintaining this iconic symbol".

Adrian Slater, General Manager of Park Hyatt Dubai added, "We are all extremely proud of our surroundings and it has been fantastic for our teams to join together and make a difference, however small to preserving such a famous Dubai landmark".

Dubai Golf are planning further clean up initiatives later in the year at both Emirates Golf Club and Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club.
